Who we are
Safe Cities Northwest is right now just a couple of people coming together as a community to share their knowledge of technology, Public Private Partnerships, community organizing in support of safety, security, and in support of better policing. We are not a business. We do not make money. We are only investing in our community
Our website address is: https://www.safecitypdx.com.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
We do not collect any personal data about visitors, and only collect the data shown on the User Profile screen from registered users. However some of your plugins may collect personal data. Refer to plug in data below.
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
We do have a form plugin, so users can submit a contact form. This generates a back end email to the administrators. We will keep your contact data for our private use on our office computers. The data is not shared with anyone else and can be deleted upon request. We only use the data to contact you regarding our group activities.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
